Lucaya Worship during Holy Week

As things begin slowly reopening and people are beginning to get vaccinated and feeling a little more safe, we also feel more comfortable worshipping together as the body of Christ. While we still need to be very careful and remain at half capacity, practice social distancing, wear masks and sanitize as we enter the sanctuary, we are planning special services for Holy Week this year.

On Friday, April 2, 2021, we will host a Good Friday service at 7:00 p.m. Our service is a communion service and we continue our careful practices by using a sanitary, individual communion service for each worshipper so there will be no cross-contamination. The service will also be broadcast live on our facebook page so everyone can join us.

On Easter Sunday morning we will continue with our traditional Sunrise Service outside beneath the cross. For those who are still uncomfortable worshipping inside, this may be a good option. The service will begin at 7:00 a.m. which is right at sunrise here in Freeport. It is a service of contemporary music, Scripture and an Easter meditation.

Our regular Easter Morning Worship will be at 10:00 a.m. and will be more traditional. It will be held in the sanctuary and will also be live streamed on facebook. We hope you can join us for any or all of these services. May God richly bless you during this Holy season.
